Overview

Starlight Journal respects your privacy. We designed the app so that all personal information remains private, secure, and under your control.

Your data is used only to provide Starlight Journal features. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with external companies.

Information We Collect

Anonymous User ID

When you open the app, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous user ID. This ID is used only to store and access your private app data.

Task and Journal Data

Your tasks, goals, project information, and activity logs are stored securely in Firebase Firestore. This data is never shared with third parties.

What We Do Not Collect

Your data is used solely to provide app features such as:

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with external companies. We do not use external AI services. We do not sell or trade user data.

Security

All communication with Firebase is encrypted using HTTPS. Firestore enforces security rules to ensure each user can only access their own data.

Deletion

You may delete the app at any time to remove local data. Cloud-stored data can be removed by contacting support through the App Store product page or the support channel provided by the developer.
